Do I think too much when taking photos?
Here is the problem : I know that I shouldn't think way too much when using my camera, because I believe that the photos will lost their own magic. I believe that there is a different between good photo and great photo.
When I see photos some masters have taken, I will say it in my mind : their photos have good technique, perfect timing, expensive stuffs, and I know it is true that they make good photos.
But all I wanna do is to make a great photo : one photo that when common people see it they will just say : beautiful, I get what you mean, I love this picture. I want to take that kind of photos, not by what kind of expensive tools I have, but seems like I lost in this thing. I keep on thinking, when capturing hard moments, this way : I wish I had that kind of lens, I wish I had that kind of flash, I wish I had that kind of camera, blah blah blah.
And most of my photos are stage photos, because, in some ways, I'm interested in the magic of stages. And I know most of my photos aren't good (or great) too.
I remember my teacher said that when you don't edit your photograph because it is actually a good (or great?) photo, you are a photographer. So I tried not to edit my photos... and it is a real hard thing to do. Hhh.
And I remember my friend said that we don't have to have expensive cameras to take good (or great?) pictures because he told me that in one competition he joined, the winner was someone who took the picture by his camera phone...
So I think I have to think less... right?
